Open Water Class and Pool
What:
This is the first step to enjoying everything that scuba has to offer you! The Open Water Certification Course is open to everyone ages 12-100+ (12-17 with parental consent), and will enable you to dive down to 60 feet (18 meters). Your Open Water Certification will be good for life!

How to Sign-Up:
Once you find a date that works for you, you can call the shop (617-666-0410) to reserve your spot, but you will not be officially registered for the class until you come in to be fitted for your rental gear, complete the liability and medical forms, and watch a short Risk Awareness video.

- A bathing suit & towel
- Mask, fins, boots, snorkel
- Lunch (or money for lunch options around MIT)
- Snacks
- Plenty of water
- Your completed e-learning course report
What else do I need to get certified?
You will need to either complete your Open Water Dives with us ($295, see Open Water Ocean Dives), or get a referral from us ($49, good for up to one year from course completion) so you can complete your check out dives wherever you please!
