Continuing
Education System
that is designed to let you personalize your education to become the
type of diver you want to be. This system can earn you a
Continuing
Education Rating
such as Advanced Open Water Diver . The Continuing
Education Rating are the only ratings in the industry that combine
training and experience requirements, proving that ratings provided by
United Divers are truly earned -- our reputations depends on it!
Prerequisites:
Open
Water Diver Course or equivalent.
Knowledge:
The intent of this
training is to help you to become an Advanced Diver. The material
covered in this course is intended to help you gain more dive
experience with the benefit of being supervised by a certified SCUBA
Training Professional. It includes a self-study guide and some home
study to be completed and reviewed before your open water dives. This
course builds on the material you were presented with in your open
water certification course.
Skills:
The Advanced Open Water
Diver training dives will introduce you to a variety of popular
specialty diving areas, including dive experiences in deep diving,
night diving and underwater navigation, wreck and boat diving as well as buoyancy control practice at
deeper depths. This course thoroughly covers the area of compass usage
underwater to enable you to know where you are at any given point in the
dive. However, the emphasis of this level of instruction is to provide
you with a wide range of dive experiences which will enable you to gain
a level of independence that will ensure you achieve a safer more
pleasurable level of diver competence.
With 24 dives get your Advanced rating!!
You must complete 24 dives and 4 Specialties to achieve the
Advanced rating, though you only need to have the Open Water Diver
rating or equivalent to begin the program.

23rd from 6-9pm at UDI

Sat July 26th
beach dives (navigation, night/lim vis)

Advanced Course Fees
Tuition: $75/specialty = $300 for five specialties!
Course Manuals: $32.95/specialty (pay only for 4)
Boat charter fee: $75 payable to boat captain
Students are required to provide their own scuba equipment for the course, though can rent equipment if needed.
